Youthful Decay Collection

This project explores climate change and the physical health impact of climate change on humans. The project's purpose is to capture the natural aesthetic of ice cubes and capture the horrifying quality of a soon-to-become death of humanity and evoke appreciation for the aesthetic quality.

Exploring ice cubes addressing climate change through still life photography is important because I intend to evoke emotions from viewers to create awareness of climate change and also to gain more experience in photography. I also find it important to study aesthetics for personal growth. The use of light and food coloring enhances the composition and overall effectiveness about bringing awareness to climate change and the fact that action is needed now.
